Technology is one of the greatest enablers and blockers facing Facilities Management and the built environment. The IWFM Technology SIG will help anticipate and navigate the future landscape of our profession. It is dedicated to promoting best practice, enhancing knowledge and mobilising the sector.
Meet the newly appointed Deputy Chair of the Technology SIG, our own Gordon Mitchell. Gordon’s broad experience in the FM sector and his passion for practical application of new technologies within the workplace mean he is uniquely positioned to put his own stamp on this role.
All of the IWFM’s SIGs are a place to seek expertise, opinion and guidance. They act as hub of knowledge and encourage member interaction and networking through relevant opportunities.
As Deputy Chair, Gordon will play a leading role in:
- Ensuring free flow of communications and contributions to the technology discussion
- Maximising learning and networking opportunities
- Coordinating access to Continual Professional Development
- Insights into the latest research effecting our profession
